The general secretary of the CCOO (Working Council of Workers' Parties), Ignacio Fernández Toxo, proposed adapting Vocational Training (VT) so that between 300,000 and 400,000 young people each year can have apprenticeship contracts with companies and contribute to Social Security.

Speaking to reporters before speaking at the El Escorial Summer Courses, Toxo advocated for a "grand pact" between the CEOE and workers' organizations to address the problem of youth unemployment, so buy phone number list that each company would hire young people for training internships, equivalent to 2% of the workforce.

This is the proposal they launched last week and will now develop with their counterparts at the employment roundtable, which will bring together the government, employers, and unions.
